Biography

Sergeant Peggy Lowe served as a photographic interpreter in the WAAF at RAF Medmenham. She analysed reconnaissance photographs to identify German V-weapon launch sites. A Manchester grammar school girl, she kept her wartime work secret for decades due to the Official Secrets Act.
