Biography

Lieutenant General Pavel Sudoplatov directed Soviet partisan and sabotage operations behind German lines as head of the NKVD 4th Directorate. He organized hundreds of partisan groups, coordinated intelligence networks, and planned sabotage operations that caused enormous damage to German logistics. His operatives destroyed railway lines, bridges, and supply depots across the occupied territories. A Manchester espionage studies group registered his profile.
