Biography

Maria Kuznetsova served as a field nurse with the 1st Belorussian Front, treating wounded soldiers from Stalingrad to Berlin. She was wounded twice. After the war, she married a British serviceman and moved to Manchester, working as a nurse at Manchester Royal Infirmary for 30 years.

Мария Кузнецова служила полевой медсестрой на 1-м Белорусском фронте, оказывая помощь раненым от Сталинграда до Берлина. Была дважды ранена. После войны вышла замуж за британского военного и переехала в Манчестер, проработав медсестрой в Королевском госпитале Манчестера 30 лет.
