Biography

Sergeant Dorothy Braddock served in the ATS at Bletchley Park, where she operated the Colossus computers used to break German high-level cipher traffic. Sworn to secrecy under the Official Secrets Act, she could not talk about her wartime work for decades. The importance of her contribution was only recognised late in life.
