Brookwood Military Cemetery in Surrey — the largest CWGC cemetery in the UK — contains over 5,000 WWI and WWII burials including some Russian Imperial and Soviet-era military graves.
Brookwood Military Cemetery (Cemetery Pales, Brookwood, Surrey GU24 0BL) is the largest Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery in the United Kingdom, containing over 5,000 burials from the First and Second World Wars.
In addition to Commonwealth graves, the cemetery contains a small number of non-Commonwealth burials including Russian Imperial and Soviet-era military personnel. The exact number and names of Russian/Soviet graves can be searched at cwgc.org.
The cemetery is open daily and easily accessible from London — take a train from London Waterloo to Brookwood station (approx. 40 minutes).
