Aleksandr Andreevich Egorov

Aleksandr Andreevich Egorov volunteered for the front in 1941. During the Great Patriotic War, he suffered a severe head wound and a heavy concussion, but managed to survive. After the war, his grandmother Akulina nursed him back to health over a long period. Thanks to her care, his strength of spirit, and an immense will to live, Aleksandr Andreevich relearned how to speak and walk. For our family, he will forever remain a legendary figure — an example of courage, resilience, and love for his loved ones. He loved his family deeply, his mother and all of us, his kin. His memory lives on in our hearts and is passed down to the next generations.
