~1945A watercolour painting of a warship, found in a skip outside a house clearance in Brighton. The painting is signed with initials "R.H." and dated 1945. The ship depicted appears to be a Hunt-class destroyer. The painting suggests the artist had intimate knowledge of the vessel, possibly having served aboard.
