Biography
Vera Mason served in the Women's Royal Naval Service at HMS Doleritte in Southampton, working as a plotter in the Western Approaches tactical room. She tracked convoy movements across the Atlantic and helped coordinate anti-submarine operations. Her unit played a vital role in reducing shipping losses during the critical period of 1942-43. She later became a librarian in Shirley.
