Biography
My great-grandfather, Vasily Kuzmich Titov, born in 1897, a native of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Dzerzhinsky District, Dzerzhinskoye village, participated in the Great Patriotic War in 1942-1943.
There is practically no information about him in any archive; according to my grandfathers, he was a partisan of the Kalinin Front.
A post-war loss verification document states that he was a rifleman, a Red Army soldier, conscripted in January 1942, but the military unit is not specified. A military registration and enlistment office record states that he was a corporal, but again, the military unit is not specified.
I believe he was drafted in 1942, trained, and promoted to corporal. He was then sent to a partisan detachment on the Kalinin Front.
Vasily and his wife Maria Ivanovna had 6 children:
Nikolai Titov, Alexander Titov, Petr Titov, Pavel Titov, Ivan Titov and my grandfather Dmitry Titov, born in 1931.
Nikolai, Alexander, and Pavel also fought in the Great Patriotic War. Nikolai died in 1943 in the Ponyrovsky district of Kursk Oblast. Alexander was wounded, and Pavel survived the fighting against the Japanese.

Мой прадед Титов Василий Кузьмич, 1897 года рождения, уроженец Красноярского края, Дзержинского района, с. Дзержинское, участвовал в Великой Отечественной войне в 1942 - 1943 годах.
О нем практически нет информации ни в одном архиве, по сведениям моих дедов, он был партизаном Калининского фронта.
В послевоенном документе об уточнении потерь указано, что он был стрелком, красноармейцем, призван в январе 1942 года, но воинская часть не указана. В Записи из военкоматов указано, что он был ефрейтором, но опять же не указана воинская часть.
Полагаю, что он был призван в 1942 году, прошел обучение и получил звание ефрейтора. И был направлен в партизанский отряд на Калининский фронт.
У Василия с женой Марией Ивановной было 6 детей:
Николай Титов, Александр Титов, Петр Титов, Павел Титов, Иван Титов и мой дед Дмитрий Титов, 1931 года рождения.
Николай, Александр и Павел также участвовали в Великой Отечественной войне. Николай погиб в 1943 году в Курской обл., Поныровский р-н. Александр был ранен, а Павел выжил в боях с японцами.
