Biography
Thomas Brennan served as an able seaman on merchant convoys crossing the North Atlantic. A Liverpool docker before the war, he survived the torpedoing of two ships and spent three hours in the freezing Atlantic before rescue. He was awarded the Atlantic Star and returned to the Liverpool docks after demobilisation.
