Biography
Corporal Sylvia Ann Morrison served with the WAAF at Fighter Command headquarters at Bentley Priory during the Battle of Britain. She plotted the positions of incoming enemy aircraft on the operations room table as information came in from radar stations. Her work was critical to directing fighter squadrons to intercept Luftwaffe raids. She settled in Brighton after the war.
