Biography
Fire Guard Rose Dugdale served with the Auxiliary Fire Service during the London Blitz. She pulled survivors from bombed buildings in the East End and fought fires despite continual danger. Awarded the George Medal for rescuing a family from a collapsing building in Stepney.
