Biography
Squadron Leader Reginald Tunstall flew Lancasters with the elite Pathfinder Force from RAF Oakington near Cambridge. Pathfinders were the first over the target, marking bombing points with flares for the main bomber stream. He completed 58 missions—nearly three times the standard tour—earning both the DFC and Bar and the DSO. He was killed on his 59th mission over Dresden in February 1945, just three months before the war ended.

Командир эскадрильи Реджинальд Танстолл летал на «Ланкастерах» в элитных силах «Следопытов» с базы RAF Оукингтон под Кембриджем. «Следопыты» первыми выходили на цель, обозначая точки бомбометания ракетами. Он выполнил 58 боевых вылетов и погиб на 59-м над Дрезденом в феврале 1945 года.
