Biography
Warrant Officer Reginald Arthur Taylor was a Lancaster rear gunner with 9 Squadron RAF. Known as the most dangerous position in Bomber Command, Taylor completed an extraordinary 42 missions over Germany between 1943 and 1945. He survived being shot down once, evading capture with help from the Dutch Resistance. After the war he returned to Birmingham where he ran an engineering firm.
