Biography
Reggie Barton was a radar operator with No. 80 Wing RAF, specialising in electronic countermeasures. He flew aboard modified bombers jamming German radar during night raids, a highly dangerous role requiring him to stay on precise courses through flak zones. His unit's work with Window and Mandrel equipment saved countless bomber crews. He retired to Brighton after 25 years of RAF service.
