Biography
Sepoy Rashid Ahmed served with the 4th Indian Division in North Africa and Italy. One of thousands of Indian soldiers who fought alongside British troops, he distinguished himself at the Battle of Monte Cassino. He settled in Leeds after the war and became a respected community leader.
