Biography
Sub-Lieutenant Peter Evans was aboard HMS Hood when she was sunk by the Bismarck on 24 May 1941. Of 1,418 crew, only three survived. Peter was 25. His name is on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial. His family in Leeds keeps his photograph and last letter.
