Biography
Wren Olive Spencer served as a boat crew member in the WRNS at Southampton docks, ferrying personnel and supplies to ships in the harbour. During the D-Day preparations, she witnessed the enormous build-up of forces and later helped coordinate the flow of wounded returning from Normandy.
