Biography
Sergeant Norman Green served with the 1st SAS Regiment in North Africa and later in Northwest Europe. In the desert, his unit conducted daring raids behind enemy lines, destroying aircraft on German airfields. After D-Day, he parachuted into France to work with the French Resistance, disrupting German communications. Norman lived in Leeds after the war.
