Biography

Ensign Noor Khan was a British-Indian SOE agent who operated as a wireless operator in occupied Paris. She was the first female wireless operator sent into France by SOE. Captured by the Gestapo, she was executed at Dachau in 1944. Posthumously awarded the George Cross.
