Biography

Miriam Rothschild, the distinguished naturalist from a Cambridge academic family, worked at Bletchley Park during the war on the decryption of German naval communications. Her exceptional analytical mind, trained through years of entomological research, proved invaluable in pattern recognition. She also used her scientific contacts across Europe to gather intelligence. After the war, she became one of Britain's foremost natural scientists and a champion of wildflower conservation.
