Biography
Mary O'Neill worked at the Short Brothers & Harland aircraft factory in Belfast, building Stirling and Sunderland aircraft. She survived the Belfast Blitz of April 1941, during which the factory was heavily bombed, and continued working on aircraft production for the remainder of the war.
