Biography
Margaret Price worked at the Birmingham Small Arms Company factory producing rifles and ammunition for the war effort. She rose to become a shift supervisor overseeing 200 women workers assembling Sten guns. In 1943, she was awarded the British Empire Medal for maintaining exceptional production output during the Birmingham Blitz. She remained in manufacturing after the war.
