Biography
Margaret Burns was a riveter at John Brown & Company shipyard in Clydebank, building warships for the Royal Navy. She worked through the Clydebank Blitz of March 1941 and continued her essential war work until 1945. She was one of thousands of Clydeside women who kept the shipyards running.
