Biography

Able Seaman Lascelle Brown was a Jamaican-born merchant seaman who served on cargo vessels sailing from Southampton. He made multiple Atlantic crossings carrying vital war supplies. He was lost at sea when SS Empire Dorado was torpedoed by U-boat in the mid-Atlantic in March 1943. One of thousands of Caribbean volunteers who served Britain.

Матрос Ласселл Браун — уроженец Ямайки, служивший на грузовых судах из Саутгемптона. Он совершил множество атлантических переходов с военными грузами. Погиб в море, когда SS Empire Dorado был торпедирован подводной лодкой в Атлантике в марте 1943 года. Один из тысяч карибских добровольцев, служивших Великобритании.
