Biography
Lachlan Drummond grew up in Clydebank and enlisted in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders in 1939. He saw action in the North Africa campaign before taking part in the Allied invasion of Sicily in July 1943. Lachlan was killed during fierce fighting near Catania. His family received his medals posthumously, and his name is engraved on the Clydebank war memorial.

Лахлан Драммонд вырос в Клайдбанке и вступил в полк Аргайл и Сазерленд Хайлендерс в 1939 году. Он участвовал в Северо-Африканской кампании, а затем в высадке союзников на Сицилии в июле 1943 года. Лахлан погиб в ожесточённых боях под Катанией. Его семья получила награды посмертно, а его имя выгравировано на мемориале Клайдбанка.
