Private Petr Kapalil (1919 – 29 April 1945) is buried at Harrogate (Stonefall) Cemetery, North Yorkshire, England — Row 20E, Grave 7177.
Yorkshire was not only a rehabilitation centre for wounded soldiers but also the largest RAF base area in Britain, with around 10 major and minor airfields. Harrogate (Stonefall) Cemetery contains 988 burials, three-quarters of them Canadian airmen. After the Second Front opened, many liberated POWs were brought to Yorkshire for medical care. Three Soviet soldiers — Kapalil, Ustinov, and Kolishev — were buried here in 1945.

Йоркшир являлся не только реабилитационным центром, но и крупнейшим центром базирования ВВС Великобритании — около 10 авиабаз. Почти все 988 захоронений на кладбище Stonefall принадлежат лётчикам, три четверти из которых — граждане Канады. После открытия Второго фронта сюда переправляли освобождённых военнопленных. В 1945 году здесь похоронены трое советских солдат: Капалил Петр, Устинов Иван и Колышев С.
