Biography
Marine Jack Morrison served with 42 Commando, Royal Marines, landing on Sword Beach on D-Day. His commando unit fought its way inland to link up with the airborne forces at Pegasus Bridge. Jack was wounded during the breakout from the beachhead but returned to action and fought through to the crossing of the Rhine. He lived in Southampton until his death at 93.
