Biography
Anna Ivanova served in the Signal Corps of the 3rd Ukrainian Front, maintaining vital communications during the liberation of Budapest and Vienna. She volunteered at age 17. After the war, she married a British diplomat and moved to London in 1952, teaching Russian at SOAS University for decades.

Анна Иванова служила в войсках связи 3-го Украинского фронта, обеспечивая связь при освобождении Будапешта и Вены. Добровольцем ушла на фронт в 17 лет. После войны вышла замуж за британского дипломата и переехала в Лондон в 1952 году, десятилетия преподавала русский язык в Университете SOAS.
