Biography
Henry Chen was born in Cambridge to a Chinese-British family. He joined the RAF and trained as a bomber pilot, joining No. 75 Squadron flying Stirling bombers from RAF Mepal. He completed 27 missions over occupied Europe before his aircraft was shot down over the Ruhr on his 28th mission in March 1944. He is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
