Biography
Captain Hamish Brown led a company of Cameronians in the gruelling Burma campaign against the Japanese. A Glasgow schoolteacher before the war, he was killed leading a charge against a Japanese bunker position near Kohima in 1944, one of the turning points of the Far East war.
