Biography
Sergeant Florence Baker was recruited by SOE and parachuted into France in 1943. Under the code name "Marguerite," she served as a wireless operator for a Lyon resistance circuit. Captured in 1944 but escaped during a prisoner transfer. She lived in Cambridge.
