Edward Chapman

Eddie Chapman was a British criminal turned double agent, codenamed Agent Zigzag by MI5. Originally recruited by the German Abwehr as a saboteur, he immediately offered his services to British intelligence. He fed false information to the Germans while providing valuable intelligence to the Allies, including convincing the Germans that he had sabotaged the de Havilland aircraft factory — when the damage was actually an elaborate fake created by stage designers.
