Biography
Sub-Lieutenant Dimitri Konstantinidis served with the Royal Hellenic Navy in exile, operating alongside the Royal Navy in the Mediterranean and Atlantic. After Greece fell to the Axis in 1941, he escaped to Egypt and then to Britain, where he served on Greek destroyers escorting convoys. He settled in Southampton after the war and ran a shipping agency.
