Biography
Lance Sergeant Cyril Adekunle was born in Lagos but raised in Deptford, London. He volunteered for the Royal West African Frontier Force and served in the Burma campaign, fighting in the Arakan and at the Battle of Imphal. He was killed in action during the advance on Mandalay in late 1944.

Младший сержант Сирил Адекунле родился в Лагосе, но вырос в Дептфорде, Лондон. Он добровольно вступил в Королевские Западноафриканские пограничные силы и служил в Бирманской кампании, сражаясь в Аракане и в битве при Импхале. Погиб в бою при наступлении на Мандалай в конце 1944 года.
