Biography
Petty Officer Bronwen Price served in the Women's Royal Naval Service at HMS Cabbala, the shore establishment near Cardiff used for training. She became an expert in signal interception and was transferred to Western Approaches Command in Liverpool, where she helped plot U-boat positions during the Battle of the Atlantic. Her work contributed to the breaking of wolf pack tactics that had threatened to starve Britain into surrender.
