Biography

Annie Kelly was an Air Raid Precautions warden in Liverpool during the devastating May Blitz of 1941, when the city endured eight consecutive nights of bombing. She was awarded the George Medal after rescuing three children from a collapsed building on Huskisson Street while fires raged around her. She continued ARP duties throughout the war and later served as a councillor in Toxteth.

Энни Келли была смотрителем ПВО в Ливерпуле во время разрушительного Блица мая 1941 года. Награждена Медалью Георга за спасение трёх детей из обрушившегося здания на улице Хаскиссон. Позже стала советником в Токстете.
