Biography
Lieutenant Anna Sidorova served as a signals officer with the 1st Baltic Front, maintaining vital communications during some of the largest Soviet offensives. She was one of the first female officers in her signals regiment and was awarded the Order of the Red Star for maintaining communications under heavy bombardment during Operation Bagration in 1944. She settled in Glasgow with her Scottish husband in 1960.
