Biography
Lance Naik Abdul Rahman Hassan served with the Royal Indian Army Service Corps, responsible for the vital supply lines that kept frontline troops fed, armed, and equipped. He served in the Western Desert and Italy, driving supply trucks through dangerous terrain often under air attack. After the war he settled in Birmingham and worked in the transport industry.
