We are looking for volunteers to help expand the Immortal Regiment UK registry through research, translation, and community outreach.
The Immortal Regiment UK is growing, and we need your help. We are seeking volunteers across the country to assist with several key initiatives:
Research Volunteers: Help us identify and document Soviet military burials across the UK. Many gravesites remain unmarked or poorly documented. If you have experience with archival research or local history, we need you.
Translation Volunteers: Our platform is bilingual (English and Russian), and we need translators to help verify and improve our bilingual content. Knowledge of Ukrainian, Belarusian, or other former Soviet languages is also valuable.
Community Outreach: Help us connect with families who may have WWII veteran stories to share. Organise local events, distribute information at community centres, and help new users navigate the platform.
Photography Volunteers: Help document memorial sites, cemeteries, and plaques across the UK. High-quality photographs are essential for our historical archive.
To volunteer, visit moypolk.uk/about or email us directly. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps preserve the memory of those who served.
